A good shepherd
- Points out the danger
- Notices when you are out of the safety of the sheepfold
- Knows the danger of being away from God
- Doesn’t give up on you until the Great Shepherd does
- Wants you to be where you are safe and happy
Hebrews 13:17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.
Why Does this Matter?
- Jesus is the only one who Saves
- Jesus is the only one who Satisfies
- It is always dangerous to be away from Jesus
- You have real enemies
