Our children are the Church, and as such get a lot of our focus and resources. Our Sunday School classes, Children’s Church, and Teen programs are led by very passionate teachers that exemplify Jesus Christ in their own Christian walk. They strive to maintain a healthy mix of learning and fun. Ultimately we want to set an example for the message of the Gospel becoming real life for all of our kids.

Sunday School
Each Sunday morning our children get to participate in their own Sunday School classes. Classes are grouped for every age from nursery to High School Seniors. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that the story comes alive, and every young person gets to participate and learn. Each Sunday School teacher has a heart to teach and is fully dedicated to instilling the Word of God into the heart of every child as we’re instructed in Proverbs 22:6.
Children’s Church & Junior Church
We also have Junior Church for 4-12 year olds during the Morning Worship hour. There the kids will have a time of singing, games, a Missionary story, a puppet show, and of course a memory verse and a Bible lesson.
Wednesday Evening Kids Program
Hardin Valley Kidz or HVKIDZ is upbeat and fast paced Bible program designed to keep children engaged. With games, fun videos, and solid biblical teaching each child can learn about Jesus in a setting that is accepting and on their level. It seems that each Wednesday we see new, precious faces and all are anxious to learn more about God. We’ve had a lot of success with the program and can not wait to see what God has in store for us next!
My family and I have never visited there. I read that you have youth geared classes and groups on your website. With us not ever attending, my children would not be open and comfortable with leaving us going to a youth class until they are comfortable with the people there. How do you handle that? Would we/they feel pressured to go into those youth classes and would it be an issue with your congregation or leaders of the church? Thank you.
They would not be pressured at all. Thank you for your question! Hope we can meet soon.
