Dear Church Family,
Galatians 4:4 says “But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law. ” In 2022, we need to be reminded of the message of Hope and the need to get that message to all people. Our special privilege again this year is spreading the good news of hope in the Hardin Valley area and to a lost and dying world. We are asking you to join us in this great undertaking!
As we approach the Christmas season, we are setting aside December 11th for our Annual Christmas Offering. We have set a goal of $7,400, above and beyond our regular giving. It is our “gift” to the One whose birthday we celebrate. We will, of course, receive this offering until December 31st, but we want our main push to be on the 11th.
Your generosity has enabled us to support missions at an 11+ year high level, help reach our community, and see people make professions of faith! As of October 31st, you sent over $23,000 to our missionaries!
Because of our need and the great opportunity we have in Hardin Valley, we are asking everyone to give towards our Christmas offering so we can support our missionaries and continue to reach the 80,000 people that live directly around our church. Simply put, we are thankful for each faithful, consistent giver. We pray for more to catch the vision of stewardship and we need those who will give extra for this special offering out of your love for Christ. You may be able to give $2,500, or $250, or $25, but let God use you for His glory! Please give thankfully, prayerfully, and sacrificially as God leads you to help. How exciting to be able to try to give more than you did last year!
God has certainly blessed our church these years and now as we stand upon 32 years of ministry, we are more excited than ever. For all the people changed by the Gospel this year, we are truly overwhelmed.
We would like to thank you for the privilege of serving the Lord as a family here in Knoxville at Hardin Valley. Your love, support, and generosity have blessed us so very much.
