Starting Strong
Starting the year off strong with daily time with the Lord is a powerful way to center your life on God’s Word. In reality, your spiritual growth hinges on this meeting with Jesus.
Each day, you can draw closer to God by reflecting on His promises and seeking His guidance for every aspect of life. In the midst of a busy world, taking time each day for quiet time is an intentional way to grow spiritually and find peace. Begin the year by grounding yourself in God’s truth, remembering that His Word is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Whatever challenges come your way, His promises remain faithful.
One simple way to establish (or continue) this habit is by using a daily devotional plan. If you haven’t already, pick up a copy of one of the books provided by the church.
