As we stand at the close of this year and charge into 2025, it’s a good time to reflect on the vision God has set before us. Proverbs 29:18 reminds us, “Where there is no vision, the people perish,” meaning that without direction, we can easily lose our way. Looking back, we can see how God has guided us, strengthened us, and blessed us in ways we might not have even noticed. It’s a time to be thankful for His faithfulness and to celebrate how far we’ve come. But it’s also a time to ask ourselves, “What does God want for us next?”

So let’s embrace the vision God has for our future. Jeremiah 29:11 tells us, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” God has good plans for each of us, and even though we don’t always know the details, we can trust that He’s leading us to something greater. So let’s move forward with faith, excitement, and hope, knowing that with His guidance, we’re ready for whatever He has in store!

Genesis 1:1-2

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
