Generosity . . . is it for me?
Generosity is a cornerstone of the Christian life, exemplified by God’s own nature of giving abundantly. 2 Corinthians 9:7 highlights the attitude with which believers should give: “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” This verse underscores the importance of giving willingly and joyfully, rather than out of obligation or reluctance. It emphasizes that generosity should flow from a heart that is motivated by love and gratitude for God’s blessings, reflecting His goodness.
Proverbs 11:25 further emphasizes the blessings that come from generosity: “The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.” This verse speaks to the reciprocal nature of generosity – those who freely give of themselves to bless others will themselves experience blessings in return. It highlights the principle that the more one gives, the more one receives, not necessarily in material wealth alone but in the richness of relationships, the depth of joy, and the fulfillment found in serving others. This verse encourages believers to cultivate a spirit of generosity, knowing that their acts of kindness and generosity will not go unnoticed by God, who promises to bless and reward those who give freely and generously.

March Memory Verses
Revelation 21:3-4
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
