Three Reasons We are Involved in Global Missions
- God’s heart beats for the nations. – The Great Commission is not just about making disciples wherever we live; it’s also about taking the Gospel to all nations (Matthew 28:18-20) and even to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8).
- Salvation is only found in Jesus. – Our lack of commitment to Christ’s command to make disciples begs the question, do we really believe in the reality of eternal punishment apart from God? The evidence seems to say that we don’t. If we do, then something is horribly wrong, for our belief doesn’t match our actions.
- Our church can’t be obedient and not support missions. – Church after church (and person after person) have embraced supporting world missions, and as a result, they are nourished and encouraged by God in ways they had not anticipated. Missions bring life to the Church.
We praise the Lord for Nancy Sutton and Jeff Holland, who followed the Lord in Believer’s Baptism last Sunday!

April Memory Verses
Revelation 21:5-6
5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
