Do Everything Like You’re Doing it for the Lord (even schoolwork!)
Colossians 3:23 says, “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.” This verse tells us to put our total effort and enthusiasm into everything we do as if we’re working directly for God, not just for people. It’s like when you take pride in your work because you care about doing a good job for yourself and others, but here, it’s about seeing it as a way to honor and please God.
When you apply this idea, you bring your best attitude and energy to every task, no matter how big or small. Whether tackling a work project, helping a friend, or just going about your daily routines, doing so with purpose and dedication makes a big difference. It’s about seeing your efforts as more than duties but as opportunities to show your commitment and values.
