The Changing of the Seasons (or at least cooler weather the past few days)!
Life is full of changing seasons, and the Bible helps us understand this natural ebb and flow. Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, “To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven.” This verse reminds us that each part of our lives has its own time and place, just like the seasons of the year. Whether we’re experiencing growth, rest, or change, there’s a reason for it all, fitting into a bigger plan.
Genesis 8:22 reinforces this idea with the promise, “As long as the earth endures, there will be seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night.” This verse tells us that, even though seasons and circumstances shift, there’s a steady rhythm to life that doesn’t change. It offers comfort and reassurance that there’s a reliable pattern and purpose behind it all, no matter what we’re going through.
As we have all enjoyed this break in the summer heat, let’s remember that God is in control and His ways are always perfect.
