October is All About …
Celebration – We rejoice that the fall season is here, a time of refreshing between the harshness of summer and winter. The coolness of the air and the crispness of the trees reminds us of the goodness of God.
Concentration – We focus on our neighbors with our hands extended to the community with our Trunk or Treat event on the 28th. Then, our Friends and Family Day on the 29th as we work towards 100 in our service!
Contribution – As our budget deficit continues to grow (almost $14,000), we have this opportunity to give extra, or even sacrificially, to help us stay financially healthy. This is a great moment to ask “What would God have me to do to help my church?” If you are new to giving, this is a fantastic time to jump in and trust the Lord to provide as you demonstrate trust in Him.
Candy – We need 5,000 pieces of candy. We are anticipating 1,500 folks this year.
Our first Pizza with Pastor gathering was so much fun. So thankful for these folks who came! Looking forward to SEVERAL more!
